Stuff that irritates me

People who wear shirts that are too short or that ride up. It’s not cute, and we all know it’s not an accident. You look like a skank-whore. Pull your shirt down, please.

Stupid tattoos. Please people, think before you ink!

Tooth-brushing pictures. That’s just unnecessary.

Duck face. Enough said.

I hate everything

I hate TV shows. I hate the internet. I hate magazines. I hate commercials. I hate advertisements. I hate music videos. I hate movies. I hate posters. I hate song lyrics. I hate America. I hate our society. I hate our culture. I hate supposed ideals of perfection. I hate everything that makes me feel this way.

What things do you enjoy most in your life?

1. Those close to me. I have an amazing family and some really great friends. I also have the most amazing boyfriend that any lady could ever ask for.

2. My job. Having a position as a nanny has taught me how to be patient and how wonderful it feels to help a busy family spend more time together.

3. Living in Oregon. At first, I really didn’t like it here. Now that I have seen more of this state, I realize how fortunate I am to have such a beautiful and diverse place to live.

4. My health. Being more health conscious was one of the best decisions of my life. I have more energy, I’m able to do the activities I want to do, and I feel good about the food I’m putting into my body.

5. All the fun things I do. Whether I’m alone or with family or friends, I’ve been able to do some great things in my life. I’ve taken a train to Disneyland, took the ferry during my trip to Alaska, driven through Big Sur, walked through San Francisco, spent a day in Canada, rode the roller coaster at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, seen jellyfish at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium, and SO much more. I feel very lucky to have been able to do so many great things, and I can’t wait to do more.

What’s on your calendar for tomorrow?

Tomorrow, I’m taking care of my boss’s dogs and then going to the doctor…again. I have developed some strange symptoms over the last few months, and something came up in my blood tests from last week. I’ll find out what it is at the appointment. Not to worry, though. I’m guessing it’s just iron-deficiency anemia. ‘Tis easily fixed with an extra-strength iron pill!

On a lighter note, I’m going to make one of these!

It’s a terrarium. Basically, a small garden in a glass container! Mine will be in a Mason jar.

What food items do you consider staples in a well-balanced diet?

In order to answer this question, I think an example of my grocery list will suffice!

Cucumbers
Broccoli
Celery
Lettuce
Bananas
Apples
Lemons
Berries
Yogurt
Granola
Bread
Cereal
Almond Milk
Granola/Protein Bars
Veggie Lunch Meat
Cheese
Peanut Butter
Crackers

And, the occasional pint of Ben & Jerry’s!

Of course, there are many other important foods, but these are foods I eat almost everyday.

What is the most annoying sound you have ever heard?

The SINGLE most annoying sound I have ever heard is people going on and on about how awful their lives are because their boyfriend broke up with them or their parents are strict or they don’t have the lap top the want or they don’t have enough money to buy that Versace dress.

NO ONE GIVES A DAMN ABOUT YOUR PETTY “PROBLEMS”.

Be grateful that you’ve felt love, that you have parents who care about you, that you have access to electronics, and even that you have clothes on your back. You have more than most people in this world do.
